A high-level delegation from the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WCCI) Sargodha, led by President Madam Shamim Aftab, held a productive meeting with the Vice President of FPCCI, Ms. Iffat Malik.
The delegation included Mrs. Sadia Khan (Senior Vice President & Principal of The Leadership School), Madam Tanzila (Vice President), and Mrs. Zahida Mumtaz Akhtar Kahlon (Executive Member).
The discussion focused on matters of mutual interest, specifically women empowerment and providing guidance and informational support to homemakers entering the business sector. Both parties agreed on taking practical steps to implement these initiatives effectively at the grassroots level.

Madam Tanzila, Vice President of the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WCCI) Sargodha, attended a high-level meeting with bank representatives hosted by the Embassy of Egypt in Islamabad. The meeting brought together delegates from eight different women chambers across the country.
The primary focus of the discussion was the unique challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. As a key outcome of the meeting, it was decided that workshops will be organized in every district under the chairmanship of the State Bank of Pakistan. These upcoming workshops aim to provide comprehensive guidance and tools to women entrepreneurs, empowering them to effectively scale and expand their businesses.

Shamim Aftab, MPA and President of the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WCCI) Sargodha, visited Sanatzar alongside WCCI Senior Vice President Mrs. Sadia Khan and senior PTI leader Madam Shahida Khan. A monthly meeting of the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WCCI) Sargodha was held at the Sargodha Gymkhana, chaired by WCCI President Shamim Aftab. Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Overseas Pakistanis, Javeria Zafar Aheer, attended as an executive member and congratulated the leadership team—including Senior Vice President Sadia Khan and Vice President Tanzila Fayyaz—for successfully establishing the chamber. On December 14, 2021, Mrs.Shamim Aftab, MPA and President of the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sargodha, visited social welfare centers—including Kashana, Darul Aman, and the Model Children Home—alongside the Director of Social Welfare. She met with the resident women and children, reviewed the available facilities, and assured them that their issues would be resolved. Additionally, she distributed winter clothing among the residents.
The University of Sargodha, in collaboration with the Sargodha Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the NGO ‘Bardasht’, hosted an insightful seminar on “Gender-Based Violence.” Key speakers, including Punjab Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Syed Yawar Hussain Bukhari and MPA Madam Shamim Aftab, emphasized the need for robust legal protections and urged women to pursue entrepreneurship rather than traditional jobs to attain economic independence. Highlighting the global 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence, the event underscored that women’s rights are fundamental human rights, with academic institutions playing a pivotal role in fostering long-term gender equality and social respect.
