Chief Guest Bilal Arif emphasized the need to encourage women’s participation in economic activities. The session was conducted at Sargodha Chamber, with participation from Acting President Sumaira Hurraira, Founder Vice President Tanzila Riaz, Shakila Sultana, and Abida Nazar from Sargodha Woman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The discussion revolved around issues like MoUs being signed but not accommodated post-signing, and how State Bank can help resolve loan and export-related problems. The representatives also talked about encouraging women’s participation in economic activities, targeting 150 to 80 million in the medium category. On 11th August, the Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) organized an awareness session for the Sargodha Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The session was attended by members of the Sargodha Chamber and Anjuman Tajraan, providing a valuable opportunity for knowledge sharing and discussion.

Sargodha Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry executive member Ms.Shazia Bangish Ms Rubina Mukthar participated at Lincoln Corner at University of Sargodha in collaboration with Noon Business School organized a round table on account of “Small Business week.”. Moreover, female faculty members from Business School also participated in the discussion. Around 54 students from various departments have participated in the event and gained valuable insights into starting their own businesses. The session provided students with practical knowledge, entrepreneurial strategies, and firsthand accounts of overcoming business challenges.
Speakers conducted SWOT analyses to help students understand strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in business. They also discussed effective ways to tackle hurdles and manage difficulties that may arise. Furthermore, the discussion included potential business opportunities in Sargodha that young people could explore. The businesswomen offered students internship opportunities and visits to their workstations, allowing them to observe real-world business operations. The event also featured interactive Q&A sessions and networking opportunities, making it a highly beneficial learning experience for all attendees
